Sinopse: A Lenda de Korra ocorre 70 anos depois de Avatar: A Lenda de Aang. Korra a seguinte, depois do Avatar Aang, uma garota rebelde, explosiva, independente e “pronta para enfrentar o mundo”com cerca de 16/17 anos. Korra, assim como Aang e Appa, tem seu parceiro animal, chamado Naga . Korra vem da Tribo da Água do Sul e já dominou a Terra, Fogo e Água. E agora O filho de Aang e Katara, Tenzin será seu professor da dobra de ar,Tenzin tem três filhos, Jinora (a mais velha), Ikki (a do meio) e Meelo ( caçula ), todos dominam ar e sua mulher Pemma . Uma das definições da história é Republic City, “habitada por pessoas de todas as quatro nações”. Lá Korra deve lidar com a criminalidade galopante e uma revolta anti-dominação.
